I played through a Memorex CDR-RW (yes, RW) today that I burned about 9 years ago. I've played it frequently throughout the years, and I was astonished to hear how perfect the playback was. Not skips, no bad spots, no scratching, no nothing. It played just like the day I burned it.
I have several other Memorex discs in my collection that are as old, and the only one that skips in the average CD player has gone through a ton of abuse throughout the years.
How are the new Memorex CD-Rs in comparison to the old stock? I haven't used any in almost a decade now, but have been thinking about going back to them for a less expensive alternative to TY and Falcon media.
