These are Ritek’s right?
Is this media any good?
From my experience with DVD media, Ritek isn’t exactly the best quality.

See this thread: http://club.myce.com/f142/my-ritek-2x-bd-rs-all-dead-306492/

Most of us around here are bailing out from using Ritek for BD anymore.

#4

stay away from it

#5

Guess I’ll stick with the Verbatims. Thanks for the quick replies folks.

Yes, I agree. Between CMC Magnetics (who actually manufactures the Verbatim 4x BD-R discs using MKM stampers and technology) and RiTEK, CMC has the upper hand when it comes to BD-Recordable media. RiTEK, on the other hand, usually (but not always) has fared better than CMC in phthalocyanine-dye CD-R and single-layer DVD recordable media.

WARNING: the Maxell 4x 15 pack in Frys is Ritek as well

#8

All Maxell may not be Ritek, the ones I have are MIJ and are Verbatim MID’s BUT these are 2x not 4x. Maybe all the 4x are Ritek?

yes 2x have either verbatim MID or maxell MID. 4x all packs i seen are MIT and have Ritek MIDs

reason why i mentioned them because they are on sale now at frys.
