It is still interesting information… Leave dead animals alone and do not touch them :wink:

This infectious disease can survive in hibernation for decades, Bloomberg notes.
Bloomberg is actually wrong here, the Anthrax bacteria changes form to a spore before going into hibernation and can, if frozen survive for a couple of hundred years, not just a few decades. It is not unique either as there are several bacteria that has this feature.
