Hello,

unfortunatly MCSE doesn`t support the LG CH08LS10 2.00 yet - special the media code list.
MCSE does support the riplock and RPC2 AutoReset patches. Do you just want to read or change the media code list ?

#1164

Thanks for your answer… I know so far that the riplock works with it … But I would like to read the media code list…

#1165

@ala42

Both v1.2.0.4 and 1.2.0.5 do not display the media list of the Samsung SH-S222A firmwares properly. v1.2.0.3 and before have no such problem.

#1166

ala42 in the next update of MCSE tool
and you add support for TSST TS-T633A pls
RPC1 or RPC2 AutoReset pls and riplock if possible

For GSA-4167 firmware, the “increase read speed” checkmark is not working with 1.2.0.2 and 1.2.0.5.
It did work with 1.1.0.18

Please read it CAREFULLY again.
YOU must patch it by yourself.

Thank you for your continued support with your tool ala42 :clap:

#1178

hi, could you add support (riplock remove) for the “Optiarc AD-7580S”?

#1179

Hi,
hi, could you add support (riplock remove) for the “Optiarc AD-7580S”?
this drive is based on QSI design - I doubt there is any firmware update available for that drive, so it can’t be patched.
Apart from that, slim drives like this are physically limited, so there is not much advantage in a riplock remove patch.

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->Hi,

I have the ch08ls10. As stated in the changelog, this is an MSCE supported drive since1.2.0.4. I am using 1.2.0.6
I got the fw from rpc1.org version 2.00 and I patched it to activate rpc2 autoreset.
The pacthing process run perfectly.
But now I see with discInfo V1.7 that my drive is still locked.

Any advice ?

Cheers,

nb: sorry for the double post. I want my post here and not there

#1181

Your drive is not locked, it is still running in RPC2 mode. When you change the region, the change counter is decremented, but not permanently. Next time you reboot your PC, the counter is back to the value it had when you flash the RPC2 Autoreset patched firmware. This way you can change the region as often as you want.

I did not know that. Thank you for the clarification. Correct me if I am wrong.

As I use the drive with the popcorn hour C200, I should see decrement when swith region, but when I reboot, the counter should be back to the initial value. Is this correct ?

cheers.
