Ive got a liteon 811s sat in my shopping basket (£114 - dabs), and want to know which media to use.
Ive read that 4x +r media with dye RICOHJPNR01 will work at 8x.
however im struggling to find this in the uk.
most of the dvd+r i have found use princo or ritek dyes
i have successfully used arita 4x at 8x in this drive
i believe ritek branded 4x are the same(i hope so, i have some in delivery

It worked for me - I have just burned one at 8x. But I have read in some thread, that it doesn’t work always. BTW: my Ricoh-DVD+R was branded Maxell (4x).
