I’m getting another 2-packs of DVD+R.
They are rated 4X on the cover, but DVDInfoPro shows it can do 8X on my 411S@811S w/ Zebra Mod v4( BTW, Thanks Zebra)

DVD-R is on sale too. Rated up to 4X.

Depends on the writer.

Some writers allows these to be written at 8x (Lite-On 811S, plexor and NU tech).

Whil most other writes them at 4x speed (Lite-On LDW-851S for example).

Depends on firmware versions also.
Many writers can do a lot of media above specified (rated) speeds.
We know ricoh are good for this, mcc, ritek etc (only some media codes though).
So maxell is using ricoh for their +R. They use mcc for their -R that I haver here. Interesting
