Then there might be some problem with either the drive's hardware or there is a connection problem.

Before you start with dismantling your laptop (assuming warranty has expired, please try if you can boot from a bootable CD or DVD.
I lately realised that the drive for this hardware was not digitally signed by Microsoft.
What is the file name of that driver?

Is this verbatim or a typo? And from where did you take that string then? Still visible (with error indicator) in device manager?
