Is there anyone out there that might know what a person could do with a picture of Marilyn Monroe either by selling the original or possibly creating prints for sale? I have a picture that my father took in 1953 of her in Korea at an Army base and have not seen anything like it in any Marilyn Monroe websites. I would like to try and do something with it that might benefit my parents.

Or ebay, if you’re unable to go for such high stakes… if you can get some kind of attention on ebay, you can do a high-stakes sell there as well. After all, the captain’s chair from the original Star Trek was sold on ebay for a fortune.

This was 1953, Not too many 1 hour photos around, especially in Korea!

you can contact Christie’s in NY since you’re in NM…but i doubt they’d be interested if it’s not autographed.

in fact, i worked at Christie’s in NYC for a bit in the department that handles these types of items and i know that without an autograph, there’d be little interest…sorry.
