Hi,

TSSTCorp stands for Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology Corporation (Website). It’s one of the few remaining manufacturers of optical drives.

Very interesting, learn something new every day!

I have this optical device in a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, with the latest (Dell) firmware D600, which works fine when I use it, which I must admit is not very often, and when having a bit of a closer look at it, noticed the above name which I have never heard off, so after looking around the forum, saw the thread you did mciahel, and thought it worth asking the question…

Thanks.
