On my last order from GenesDTP, I grabbed a small amount of printable MAMA Gold CD-Rs. I know, partly from reading here, that they're not the greatest, I bought them entirely out of curiousity. I also posess a large(r) number of Taiyo Yuden Watershield CD-Rs which I intend to continue using for anything truly important.
I'm curious just to know, how good/bad the discs are what strengths and weaknesses they have vis. a vis. other discs generally on the market. I'm not too worried about degradation, since I'm in a very cool/temperate climate here and my discs generally don't get abused - the only time I've ever lost data on optical media so far has been on CMC MAG CD-Rs and one Moser Baer DVD.
