Firstly, you don't need to get your point across in capitals - it's considered rude (shouting).
Secondly, my brother has got two of these drives. First one flashed ok, second died like yours did. He's been unable to revive it so far :sad:
The first one that flashed ok has very poor performance in writing and reading DVD-R, +R, ect. :a I suggest you try to get another drive from a reputable manufacturer (Pioneer, NEC, Benq, ect). :iagree:
