What's the differences between the versions I've seen people talking about? The 5005A and the 5005B? Is the A not an "all write" machine?
Hi Gastrof, unless you've already seen my reply at the other site Both A & B featured "All-Write", to my knowledge the B version had some changes to the connection options - in europe the original only had one scart.
Reason I asked was that someone (maybe it was on eBay) said something about the 5005 doing +R with no mention of "-". Well, mine does both, but wanted to be aware if some don't.

It is only the earlier models 5001/2 that were not "all-write" equipped.
