Just bought myself a new LiteOn 52327S burner, set it up but it doesn’t burn CD’s at all.

I load them into the tray wait a little while eject them but they aren’t burnt at all - no scorch marks, no melting, no nothing.

Did I waste my money buying a hi-tech cd burner when i could of done the same with a 50cent box of matches.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

sell ur CD writer (high tech…heh heh)

that should hopefully melt ur CD’s
and one more thing set the intensity to max…Heh heh heh:bigsmile:       :Z  :cop: :a

This wasn’t a serious question, right?

You have to light the pilot light in the 52327S. Only the Plextor Premium is “pilot-less” at this time. So you’ll get to use those matches after all.

Edit: Oh, and welcome to the forum, krazylobster!

Thx a bunch for ur help and quick replies guys.

Tried the microwave idea, but my friend got sick after cooking some 2 minute noodles in there afterwards. Wonder why…

But seriously though, its awesome - Mt Rainier - and how it burns also onto the CD the files to view the CD on other comps.

Only trouble is I can’t find any 52x media to let it loose lol.

Hmm good you clarified yourself in the last post, otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do with this thread…

A lot of 48x media will work fine at 52x.
