both of those models use the Mediatek 5 Chipset
you can tell by the number before the ending letter
http://liteon.notrix.net/ has a list of models and the firmware available for them aswell
you can see what models use the Mediatek 5 and 6 Chipsets

My LTR-40125S@48125W has MT1508E 0203-CRB HBM28 _ MT1516E 0203- CPS 30031
More info can be found here
And how about yours ?
Try a quick search of these forums, it’s freaky what you’ll find out… To repeat it once again, the core MTK chipset for the 3 and 5 series Liteon drives are the MT1508E & MT1516E ICs. I have seen no confirmation for the 6 series Liteon drives. I heard that the MT1518 integrates the functionality of the Rohm driver (BD7902FS), but do not know if it is used in the 6 series. There’s no such thing as the “Mediatek 5 and 6 Chipsets” per se…
This has been posted so often, that perhaps it should be included in the FAQs.
To All ,
Thank you!
