Low Human Voice Volume on DVD Copies!?!?

When trying to burn certain movies or episode discs the play back of the copy will result in very low volume of the speaking voices from the actors in the movies/shows, sometimes almost impossible to hear. The background noise is dominant in the copied DVDs. It doesn’t happen all the time, only with ceratin copies. I have no idea if this is a compression issue or it is something simple I’m missing…please any help is very much appreciated???

My specs

1Click DVD Copy v4.2
AnyDVD Decryptor
2 Sony DVD-RW drives
Legacy DVD-R media

There is no way the noise of certain frequencies (vocals) can be altered in the DVD copy, especially if you are using standard software. Try with Nero or Clone Cd. Are you making DVD copuies or authoring new DVDs by adding multiple files?

But most original DVDs too have feeble vocal sound.

Sorry for the confusion…

I’m making a backup copy of dvds that I own. I don’t have any problems authoring my own DVDs w/Roxio. Any idea as to what I might be missing?

Thank you for your help

1Click Does not alter or compress the Audio in any way
It is - as it was - exact copy

At times -
The 'Quality" of the Media that you’re using can effect the playback
and / or burning the Media at too great (or too slow) a speed
A Firmware Update also might help

Your 1Click is over a year behind in Updates -
You need to Update your 1Click to at least 4.2.9.13

 • I’ve sent a 4.2.9.13 zip download link via PM

You’re using AnyDVD … 4.2.9.13 will work great
Ultimately - I’d recommend updating to 5.0.3.2

 • but that’s up to you

Your Media : Media ID: GSC003 is questionable

Try decreasing your burn speed @ 4x to compensate

If You’re using DVD-Rs
Try setting the DVD-R writing mode at "TRY SAO FIRST"
Some players find Back-Ups burned @SAO

 • much more compatible
