Looking for three programs

I could make three threads, but I decided to squish the requests into one to save space.

  1. I need a good freeware html editor. I know the basics of HTML, but writing web pages on notepad still requires more commitment than I am willing to give it.
  2. I need to know what files a specific application accesses while it’s running. Is there a utility that can tell me?
  3. I also need to know which registry entries, no matter how unimportant, said application is accessing. So I need a utility for that too…

Selida

Not sure if this can help you, but try this

For this maybe can be useful this

Thanks to both of you, I downloaded them and will try them when I get home

The surest way to get ALL the reg keys that are being accessed is to monitor what keys are created during the install. you can record that by using a program called InstallRite.

OT: DENGHIU  (non so se ti ricordi una pubblicità di qualche tempo fa in televisione in cui Biscardi faceva sfoggio di una pronuncia inglese impeccabile :stuck_out_tongue: )

2: You can also try Process Explorer by Sysinternals

I know Editpad, but it seems to me like notepad on steroids. It will colour tags, but won’t render the page as I make it.
I’m basically looking for something like Frontpage, only without the horror. :stuck_out_tongue:
Selida keeps crashing saying “Dhtmled.ocx” hasn’t been registered (which might have something to do with my removing Internet explorer from my system).
I’ll try running regsvr32 to register it manually.

Also, Filemon and Regmon by Sysinternals did the other job.

I registered that ocx, but it’s STILL crashing.
Anything else?

HTML-Kit I think and a lot of other people do too that it is the best free HTML editor out there. I been using it for a while now and don’t have one complaint about it. Also there are a LOT of plugins for use with it.
