You don't have to spend +$100 to get a good video card these days. But we will pick a good one anyway. Its good to have options on the video card like Display Port, HDMI, and DVI outputs.
So here are two options, they are basically the same card and after rebate the price is pretty much the same. One card has 512MB ram the other has 1GB, the only real reason to get the 1GB card is if you plan on doing photoshop work and want to take advantage of the gpu accelerating capabilities of the program.
XFX HD-567X-YNF3 Radeon HD 5670 512MB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card with Eyefinity
XFX HD-567X-ZNF3 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
I don't know why one card says PCIE 2.0 and the other 2.1, also one says eyefinity and the other doesn't. They should both be same other than the ram. Eyefinity basically means you can run 3 monitors with the one video card.
Sorry bean, but the gts450 is a rip off at that price point when one can get a gtx460 for the same price. Also those are gaming cards.
