My Tosh Salellite originally was a Vista machine (I think) but has been upgraded to Win 7 Home Premium. Ever since the Win7 upgrade, I believe, it no longer recognises the DVD drive. In the Device Manager for the Matshita DVD drive, I get a warning icon and the DM properties for the device tells me "The device cannot start. (Code 10)".

found a Win7 patch that supposedly says:
This patch is workaround for following issues on Windows7.
- 1. Internal SATA devices may not be detected as removal device.
- 2. Some ODDs does not detected.
Installed that and rebooted but does jack - and still can't see my DVD drive and still with Code 10 device drive error.
