I know that Samsung have had a pretty good reputation, but I think the tide is turning. Their products are fragile and don't last. Their RMA system is swamped and they are unable to back up their warranties. Long after their stated turn-around time, they sent me a monitor that was obviously broken. In fact broken far worse than the one I sent them. They claimed they couldn't replace that for weeks. I had to go buy another monitor.
Once you have a ticket number, you can try their Executive number 1-800-522-7341, although I found that they merely lie about doing things instead of admitting that they don't actually do anything to support their warranties.
