Looking 4 better DVD+r

I have been using Memorex DVD+r. I would like to know what is a good disc to get. I have started to get bad burns with Memorex. I have been told that Memorex is made from lots of other companies. Therefore they are very unrelyable.

Im looking for low cost but relyabe DVD+r’s. I just dont want to get burned and make anymore coasters.

Thanks for you input on this.

Throw this dawg a bone…

Spot on (and welcome, BTW!)

Verbatim (but not the “Pearl Whites”), or Taiyo Yuden discs are generally considered to be among the best.

What burner do you have? Folk may be able to recommend other brands/manufacturers if you post that info.

Thanks for your reply. I just got 6 50 pack of Verbatim DVD+r 16x. They were on sale for 14.95 per. That was 53% off.

Burning them at 12x seems to bring better result. Though that would depend on your drive and firmware version.

:iagree:

Since you don’t say what burner or firmware you have, I’d guess that 12x would be a good starting point.
