Logitech Refreshes Universal Remote Line With Harmony Touch

Logitech today unveiled the Harmony Touch, its first Harmony universal remote control in several years and a return to the touch screen and button format.

The Logitech Harmony Touch is a new remote control that greatly simplifies the complex designs found in previous Harmony remotes. It’s still a combination of physical buttons and a 2.4-inch color LCD touch screen, but the buttons are larger and fewer in number and the screen takes a more center position on the remote. The Harmony Touch foregoes a dedicated number pad, one of the most space-hungry sets of buttons on any remote, and instead separates the buttons into two main sections flanking the touch screen: a lower navigation pad with directions and four color buttons, and an upper set of playback control buttons.
