Little Problem with a Lite-on DVDRW LDW-411S

Sorry to bother you all. I’ve got a Lite-on DVDRW LDW-411S. It was all going swimmingly up until a couple of days ago when for no conviently explained reason it would no longer burn at x4 but only at x2. :a
Erm I’m a bit new to all this so I would appricate some help !
But the simpler the better.

Could you report what the Smart-Burn tool (available from the LiteOn website) said?

This media type is not very common and is unsupported by the drive.
