LiteOn Issue burned to disks, now falls over (Lite-On LH-20A1S)

I am rather new to this site, not so much PC's but this is odd

I bought a new burner Lite-On 20A1s for burning dual layer

I was able to cut two 8.5gig disks movies, but now it falls over
I am not sure if it's the DVD brand as I purchased the same from the same person, the software has not changed...

So I am a little perplexed...

Is there a prefered burner that has no issues (chance would be a fine thing I bet)

I am running XP 4gig of onboard memory

I was using CloneDVD4
Which works really well puting to the HDD as I mentioned I was able to get two disks to work fully, so it there a simple solution to this problem

I would be greatfull of any advice

What’s meant by “but now it falls over?” Two disks work fully, so what’s the problem? What chipset does mobo have?

What’s the disc brand? Some brands are such low quality that discs from the same spindle can fail while others work.
