Lite-on iHAS122 F
Firmware: EL04
MID: RICOHJPN-D01-067
Sold as: T71 DVD+R DL 8.5GB (fake RICOHJPN-D01-067 disc)
Burn @ 6x

Test onto my old and reliable iHAS122 A. One more coaster … this is the 15th lost disc, of a 50-pack spindle…

The drive didn’t finished scan and stuck onto layer break… all of my lost discs presented failures onto layer break… discs with less than 7.5 GB have a little more chance to burn successful, but with quality score 0.

I prefer for dumping DOSFlash since I have good experience with that.

I searched here but i’m with doubts… i need to plug my drive onto SATA port with IDE mode or i can extract firmware using SATA port onto AHCI mode?

Extracted file has zero-byte size.:confused::confused:

Normally DosFlash works best with controllers set in IDE mode. If it is possible to connect the drive to a SATA controller which you could set to operate in legacy/compatibility mode (IDE) that would definitely be worth trying.

Okay! Thanks for reply.

Tonight i try extract the firmware again. I’ll change the SATA port to my MB port (i use a PCI-Express controller to my ODD drives)…

I’ll be back soon…

So, does the iHAS F distinguish itself much from the iHAS E in terms of scanning? The table says they’ve got different chipsets and OPUs so my guess is it does, but I haven’t seen it show up very often in scan posts. What about iHAS C vs iHAS D, for that matter (same chipset, different OPU)?

Yes I have it:

The archive contains both CL98 and CL99. CL99 is newer by the way. You can flash them using the latest Flash Utility.
