Liteon drw-6s160p 05c Firmware/drivers needed

Hi…
i have bought a liteone drw-6s160p dvd writer but i can’t install it on my system as i can’t find the appropriate drivers or firmware.
The liteon site doesn’t list the product and the closet matching drivers (a subtle rearrangement of the code above) doesn’t work either as it simply picks up the drive as drw-6s160p psg6 and says the drivers are not the correct ones.

any advice very much appreciated.

The drivers come with the OS. What OS is running?

Not sure on the OS and i can’t check as am not currently logged on to teh machine in question. How do i check this and how do i get the necessary drivers?
