Did a test 48x on the fly with no errors !! no buffer underruns !!

also i was told the LTD163D couldnt report C2 ERRORS

well i have fully tested these and i think they go very well together !!!

also the DVDrom for somereason FLYS through error scip !!
m last pionner didnt

this also has a bigger burst rate than the liteon 48x has !!

48125W = 17x - 18x meg
LTD 163 D = 21x - 22x meg
=================================

as you can see the ltd has better accseleration than the 48x burner !!!

i just thought i would post my testing and i suggest to eny of you to get this combo

i well pleased :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :bigsmile:

Excuse me for asking this incredibly newbie questing, but what is a C2 error :confused:

I have tried the search but it seems that you can’t search for words under the 3 letters.

Could someone please explane (or point me in the direction of an article which explains)

So, correct me if I’m wrong, if your cd/dvd reader doesn’t report C2 errors you’r not capable of making a good backup of an audio Cd ?!?!

and what about data cd’s ???

#7

All cd readers do c2 error correction, but only some drives are able to correctly report where the drive encountered c2 errors and what kind of c2 errors they are… This is the case for audio cds as well as data cds.

#8

LOL why would I envy you. I’ve had the same setup for a week.

But if your cd-reader isn’t able to report where it encountered c2 errors correctly you are still able to backup this cd 100% correct ???

and Tazdevl, what the hell are you talking about :confused: :stuck_out_tongue:

What the F**K is going on :confused:

Now Ferret and Tazdevl are both talking rubbish

But can anybody answer my questing regarding C2 errors ???

If your cd-reader isn’t able to report where it encountered c2 errors correctly you are still able to backup this cd 100% correct ???

#14

You are right, the ability to report c2 errors is an extra thing, you don’t need this ability to make good backups!

Just a quick note regarding on the fly burning…I tried to backup Spiderman for the PC…on the fly with LTD 163 and 40125S o/ced to 48125W…it would not go any faster than 24x on the fly…it has to do with I think the type of cd Spiderman is…it got different tracks…just can not remember off had now…

SO certain cd will work faster on the fly than other
