I have a Lite-On iHAP122 9 DVD R/W and it is have issues reading some DVDs. I am able to read game DVD’s and other sofeware install DVDs, but the drive just flashes on my Office DVD

I have Windowx XP. Internal IDE

Any ideas?

Is the Office DVD a pressed or recordable disc?

It is a pressed genuine DVD. Strange thing is that if I use any other DVD, then they work, but once I have put in the Office DVD no others will work after either.

Hmm, strange, I’v no idea - perhaps some one else can shed some light.

If it was a recordable I was going to reply that it could be the crappy media.
