Hi all,

Is there any utility to Reset the “Life Record Count” for Lite-On DH20-A4P?
I can see the “Life Record Count” in “Smart Burn Media check 3.5.1”

How can I clear the count?

How can I know the No. of discs recorded on this DVD Writer?

Thanks in advance for replies…

This is the screenshot:

U have to click refresh button in window of “Smart Burn 3.5.1”

This is the screenshot of my DH-20A3H.
I really don’t understand what is Record Count 65535.
I think it’s impossible that Life count is the total hours of use.

#18

My DH-20A4P shows nothing like that :frowning:

In Lite-On Company service centre…they show me this number…& told me that the “Life Record Count” number should be less than 20…to avail the warranty.

My drive’s count is 27. this number represents the number of written CDs/DVDs in Drive.

I don’t know what is the calculation they made from that number.

that’s why I am asking to reset this number…is there anybody knows about it?

Warranty is only limited by time and not by use (as far as I know).
