Lite-on 12/10/40 w/Superlink

Is this the LTR-12102b?
I couldn’t find any info on Lite-ons homepage, although they look the same.

Is it true that this burner can handle sd2?
This page says so :frowning:http://www.geocities.com/snap55uk/safedisc2.html)

Still CloneCD claims it doesn’t.

Has anyone tried this one?

i also wanna know cause i can get this drive for £70

either that or a TDK

oops no i cant its this i can get for £70

CD-RW 32r 12w 10rw Internal IDE Retail
Mfr code: LTR12101B-30YC

might as well buy the TDK vortex i think then… never needed to burn a safedisk2 game yet dont think i ever will

Bought the Lite-on and Max Payne works!!!

Got it for less than 100£ (it is actually quite cheap here in Norway).

The writer also has Superlink, a kind of BurnProof protection which works with CDR-Win. CloneCD won’t accept it though, but small problem as long as Max Payne works in 12X!!!

So it’s just one thing to say : Skip Plextor and go for LTR-12102B.

You can get a Lite-on 12/10/40 fromhttp://www.Komplett.co.uk dont get the other one i don’t think it works.About £90 with postage,i use em with a plex 12/10/32A and yes SD2 no probs done undying in 12 mins 29 secs works in any drive.
