Linux problems

I just installed Ubuntu 6.06 and I can’t access my windows install.

I have two drives (I took the names from after /dev in disk manger) .

my sda1
and a sdb 1 (which ubuntu is on)

and I cant acess the sda1 with my windows install on it.

I want to be able to acess windows again.

can I change grub to boot into my xp install again or what?

You cannot access your windooze partition/install from ubuntu (when mounted) or do you refer only to the bootmanager, means grub here?

If it is the latter one, you need to adjust the grub settings.

Never mind. God, this has been a awful last three months with my os(s). That’s pretty much the reason why I haven’t been on cdfreaks. Well I didn’t get my stuff back, but I found out I had saved everything onto a disc about four weeks ago! So I lost stuff, but most of the important stuff is still there (pictures, audio, videos). I just decided to go back to Vista. I loved Vista, but damn it’s buggy! Oh well, I really wanna play Crysis and I don’t want to go through with all that crap with Direct x10 on xp.
