In what situations can you take advantage of “Speed Booster”? It seems to be a form of this “Super G” thing I’ve seen in stores lately.

Can a Powerbook with AirPort work with Speedbooster? Or should I just settle for a standard Linksys G router?

I want to get a Linksys Wireless G router and use a Linksys Speed Booster PCI wireless card for my computer. My sister just ordered a Powerbook, which is why we’re going to a wireless network.

The throughput speed for cable tops out @ 3 to 4 Megs. Therefore, Super G is not going to matter. However, the format may give you a few additional feet of reception.

Dunno if the airport will support Super G. Probably not.
