[qanda]This thread is about the HP DVD640e. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]I am on a work computer and am trying to burn a file to a \'LightScribe Verbatim\' disk. The regular R-W burner does not even recognize there is a disc in the drive and for some reason when I choose to burn to the \'HP LightScribe\' drive I get a \'drive not accessible\' error (incorrect function). The face of the drive does indicate that it does burn discs..
I have tried to burn the files to 4 different \'LightScribe\' disks with no success, but the drive is recognizing other types of burnable disks and I have been able to write the file to one of them (I would just use this disk, but I am in need of a more professional disk title face, and my boss does not wish to use a sticker type label..)
Is there a special program that I need in order burn files to these disks? Do I need to burn the files to the disk using the \'LightScribe\' drive?
(I could be wrong on the exact model of this drive - it may be an HP DVD640i, there is no letter after the number on the front of the drive..)
I really hope someone can help me out with this..
