LG H54N no seek complete error

Hello everyone, there’s a problem i have with my dvd writer.
I bought a couple of memorex dual layer dvds today and i tried to burn some data with nero burning rom 7. i left the room for about 20 mins after starting the burning process and when i came back there was an error saying: no seek complete, burn process failed at 4X.
The dvd seems to be fine, there’s no data on it so i guess it didn’t burn anything on it. can someone tell me what could be the problem ? thanks
