I just Bought an LG 4167B this morning (and now it`s 00:16) wrote DVD-R with Nero 7 - no problems (tested it on my DivX player).
But when i inserted the DVD back in it didn read it,just span around, hanged my computer (not completely) until i ejected the disc, when i eject the disc it displayed the drive (insert disc in drive ...) I tryed other discs but it does the same tryed CDR too (different brands).
If i restart the pc with a cd inserted it hangs at a certain point as it spins the cd and the led is flashing, when i eject it everything is back to normal.
I moved the drive from Primary ide Slave to Secondary and it does the same (it was toghether with a HDD on both cables) - nothing changes.
I have not changed the firmware and I have Win XP sp2 (up to date).
This is my first post so be gentle (i wrote so mutch in a try to ancipate questions and to give as mutch info as i could.) excuse my english but i am tyered, pissed off and i have a headache form tinkering all day with it.
What do you think i should do? Return it?
:EDIT: it was made in August 2005 and it has DL10 (that`s what it sayes on the unit)
