LG GSA-4163B DL Burn Quality Questions

I’ve bought this drive on newegg only about a month ago and have recently bought some verbatim DVD+R DL disks (media id MKM-001-000) to try out. The disks burn fine but when I do a kprobe scan or nero disk quality check the disks rate poorly. I did the scans on a Lite-on JLMS XJ-HD166S with the newest firmware. This is the only drive that I have available to do the tests with at home or at work. My LG is updated with the latest A103 firmware, as well as, my Lite-on has the latest firmware. Normally the scan on single layer dvds are pretty good but these dual layer seem to be scanning poorly. The drive seems to do well until it gets to the second layer then it all goes downhill. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

My system spec are:
AMD Athlon 64 3200 754 pin
1024 Patriot Low latency 2-3-2-5 memory
Seagate 120 7200rpm hd
WD 160 7200rpm hd
MSI K8N Neo Platinum nForce3 250 Motherboard
Windows XP Pro SP1
Nero Enterprise v6.6.0.8a

This is my first post and I tried to attach my KProbe results:

If it doesn’t work here’s the log file:

DL discs are in general of miserable quality.

sadly thats seems to be true. Some say verbatim DL discs are OK.
