You obviously have never shipped a TV via a Courier Service or Major Trucking Company. I've actually had one company try to fold a TV in half! These things had best be shipped in boxes made of 5mm Diamond Plate.
As for these things actually being put into production, I'm not holding my breath. In 2011 LG was unable to fill Dealers Orders on conventional TVs! I've had product on backorder for 7 months. Seems they are too busy suppling Tablet Screens.
