I welcome LED televisions. 3-D? Not so much.

It’s nothing more than the TV manufacturers grasping at straws to gouge even more money out of your pockets with a technology that is 57 years old but STILL hasn’t made it past fad mode. Why? Because of Avatar. They think the success of one movie will drive this new technology and open your wallets.

Until they have 3-D television without glasses this tech is doomed.

Confucius say, “Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok.”

I just don’t get it!! Why must I buy an active shutter pair if 3D Glasses to watch TV in 3D??? When I go to a move theater and watch a movie in 3D or IMAX 3D they hand me a "polarized” set of glasses to view the movie just like they did when I saw Avatar. These glasses cost less than a dollar so why can’t they use the same technology for the 3D TV’s???.
