LG 4167b: "Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (Ultra-DMA/32)"

Hey everyone,

Ever since I updated my firmware to DL13, I have been having trouble burning ISO’s.

Burning normal data seems to be fine, but whenever I burn an ISO it gives me the “Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (Ultra-DMA/32)” message at around 30%.

Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Here is the log file. I hope this helps.

Use a 80 wire flatband cable to connect the drive and disconnect other devices on the cable.

I fixed the problem.

I simply switched media from Philips DVD+R to Fuji DVD-R and it works like a charm.

Thanks anyway
