LDW-401S can turn CDs in to gold

LiteOn,

I have just purchased your LDW-401S. I inserted a blank CD-RW to burn mp3 and when I took it out it was turned to solid gold.

The point? Let us stop talking about how to turn the 401 into 411. The 401 is a good DVD+ drive. Hopefully LiteOn will work to keep generating firmware to make both drives work better for their intended use.

I totally agree with you…i’ve had my 401 for over two weeks now and i’ve not encountered any problems up to
this moment. I think it’s absolutely brilliant and every DVD
backup i’ve made plays in my stand alone DVD player.
