This got me thinking about my music habits and I realized I haven't downloaded anything for about six months now. There simply isn't anything new worth listening to. I have been boycotting the RIAA for about 2 years now, and have only bought 1 new CD during that time, a Marilyn Manson CD that my son requested for his birthday. I've turned my son's music interests to classic rock from the sixties, seventies, and eighties and now he sees what crap modern artists are too! I also helped my son form a sort of CD club with his junior high buddies. They all share the CD's they buy with each other; one buys something and everybody copies it! Another great way to stick it to the RIAA is to buy and sell used CD's only. Copy your music and sell it at the used record store so somebody else can buy it without a penny going back to the RIAA. If you follow these simple practices the RIAA will be gone in no time!
