Virginia Democratic Rep. Rick Boucher said he planned to introduce a bill that would eliminate the anti-circumvention clause of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

I applaud Rep Boucher for standing up for the consumer. Whatever happend to the fair use clause. I guess the RIAA idea of fair use is to buy the CD but not allow you to play it. But as long as they get your money…

I applaud his efforts, but the RIAA is in the pockets of our elected officials that this will fail miserably. There’s only one way to take back our rights. We must bring the RIAA to their knees. BOYCOTT THE RIAA!

I don’t live in the states, but I fully support any senator/congressman who wants to get rid of those stupid laws.

Don’t hold your breath,because I do live in Virginia and have never seen the Commonwealth do any thing for us little people. I have been here since 1960 and have never seen us get any help… :c
