I bought a 42" 1080p LCD for under $400.00 last year on Black Friday. Also bought a 40" for under $300.00.
The stores in B’ham, al, haven’t heard about this yet. The brand name 40-42 inch tv’s are very over priced here (some Sony, Sharp, & Toshiba tv’s are priced well over $1000 each). Maybe their Christmas price gouging will backfire on them and they’ll lower their prices after the holidays.
