I expect to use Nero Linux to write files larger than 2 Gb. I was just reminded of this as a problem after writing several DVDs with large files, and then later not being able to restore the data. After search this forum, I was able to discover how to change to a UDF filesystem and write files exceeeding 2 Gbytes.
The files that were written ISO9660 that exceeded 2 Gbytes apparently can be restored by copying them under Windows. As a consequence, all is not lost, but I'm wondering if Nero Linux could be made as smart as its Windows brethren and warn about the file size problem and the necesssity to switch to UDF? Can UDF be made the default filesystem for NeroLinux rather than having to change manually?
