4x scanning is well-suggested for comparison purposes, I know. But I thoought that, moreover, scanning @max speed resulted in a higher number of PIs/PIFs. And now what? I distractely selected "Max" before scanning (1st scan), and errors were LOWER than @4x (2nd scan)! Why are scans so different, and better @ higher speeds?NB: I removed the highest value in both, and they were respectively 208 and 411 (PI), 14 and 108 (PIF)
scanning at a higher speed means a lower sampling count and can sometimes mean a disc shows less errors, both those scans are fine
This is a very good example of the problems associated with Max scans; those spikes make the scan almost impossible to read.
