First, scan it correctly using the right settings. (4x scan, 8 ECC)

Second, read this:

one more suggestion… there is a media forum that is devoted to scans of media

they would be able to tell you that ritek quality various,
the faq on that forum has all sorts of info on correctly scanning and interpreting results.

might want to check that out and may post there next time:

they have both cd and dvd media forums.

not a hack on you just a suggestion.

Sorry guys…taking a little while to get hang of this…will get there eventually.

This was taken before applying speedhack.

This is after speedhack, burned at 4x with 4x media, using Nero 6.3.1

This is after speedhack, burned at 4x with 4x media, using Roxio 7

So, is there something wrong Nero?

Suggestion for cnlson:

Please move this post as its in th wrong place.

all of those scans look good. the standard is pi <280 and po <32 although i have found that my players are far less sensitive to PI than PO errors. i have had discs with more than 700 PI and they will play fine but when the PO gets over 32 it will stutter in the players

as far as moving it i would PM one of the mods (rdgrimes and OCfreak are mods here and the media forum i think)
