Safedisc and Starforce are two different types of copy protections.

If it uses latest Starforce, you are a bit outta luck till softwrae companies update their burning apps.

If its latest safedisc, depending on your burner, it can be defeated.

It can be misleading sometimes, particualy when people use the initals for them, and to add to that they are both at the same version number.

SD3
SF3…

Read around and there has been reports of a Starforce 3 backup game running with special conditions.

But SafeDisc 3.20 can be defeated depending on software and burner make/model as xtacydima said.

yeah, it is, buy yourself scsi and throw away the ide crap. I imagine how you crawl around your pc, unplugging your ide drives every time you wanna play, it looks ridiculous in my imagination. that’s what happens when you buy crappy hardware.

btw, starforce 4 will require you to unplug your crappy AMD cpu. only intel will work :bigsmile:

HA! AMD will live forever with it’s good priced units:bigsmile:

@WRFan
Crappy hardware has nothing to do with it. Its very situational. Also, where do you get your source of information from? This si th efirst ever I see or hear a copy protection scheme targeting a CPU chipset. I don’t personally think any protection scheme is that advanced. Also, keep in mind all protections are buggy to some degree.

Yes, AMD is good and I am sure AMD can play a Starforce backup.

I would personally recommend to everyone not to look at the post. Nothing personal, friend… it just doesn’t seem too practical/helpful is all.

Bakley how I can to Know the key?.

I see a lot of keygens in internet but doesn´t works.

We dont allow keygens here, and what i think he was saying was the encrypted key from the disk not the cd-key.
