[QUOTE=mciahel;2264134]Hi and Welcome!
I guess, the manual of your head unit gives some information about burn parameters.
Assuming you have properly converted your WMA to mp3, you might give ImgBurn a shoot. It has a lot of options that allow you to burn a disc that is compliant to the requirements stated in the manual.
Additionally, you might check if the mp3 plays on your computer. Or just burn the WMA to CD-R or -RW (as data disc using Imgburn). According to your initial post, WMA is supported by your HU.
Oh - before I forget that: do not burn at the highest possible speed. 24x should be fine.
Thanks for the reply. Funnily enough I am just in the process of building a burn catalog for IMGBURN.
I am beginning to think it was a problem with Vista’s in built burning functionality. According to my manual all disks must be finalised (as opposed to just the session closed) and I don’t think Vista finalises a disk by default from what I can find on the issue on Microsoft’s web site.
When burning an image for a 700MB CDR what is the recommended maximum content size (I presume some space needs to be saved for finalizing the disk?)
I am going to give this a crack with IMGBURN. I have set the options to:
File System: ISO + Joliet and set Joliet to Level 1 - 64 characters (manual says head unit supports ISO9660, Joliet and Romeo)
All files are CBR 320kbps
Will give it a whirl and see how it goes.
Thanks again, will post results once my vehicle gets home.
