After about 10-11 months, we noticed that the picture seemed to be getting darker, like the crisp bright picture was not what it was. It was almost daily that it was getting noticeably darker.
So I bought a new lamp and replaced it.
I reset the picture to factory setting with the onscreen menu.
This still didnt look right. A good picture but the brightness still was not right. After a couple of weeks, it started to get darker again.
The lamp was under warrantee, I sent it back and was sent a new replacement, but still it just doesnt look right.
It is watchable, but during the day it is very hard to see, especially darker pics.
My wife and I are smokers so I do have an ionic air cleaner to help to keep the air cleaner, but could smoking be causing something?
I looked inside through the left side and it really looks good. I dont see anything dirty. There is what appears to be another bulb of somekind in the center, near the bottom of the cabinet.
Could that be dirty and need cleaning?
I just dont know.
I have not gotten anywhere with jvc.
Any help?
