Would be cool to see the “dash” camp get a “first” finally. :g

whats a dash camp ?

#5

A camp where you make car dashboards, what else?

“Dash Camp” = The DVD Forum. vs the DVD+RW guys. Seems that the “plus” camp always gets the advances first. :frowning:

Bloody Hell just release BluRay already, these lame addons are too costly to use. DVD+R and DVD+RW are great and very cost efficent. I can buy high quality R’s and RW’s for less the 40 cents per DVD. Dual Layer will never be cost efficent since the media will never be put into mass production.

Dual Layer will never be cost efficent since the media will never be put into mass production. Thanks for the attempted comment, but you really shouldn’t make claims such as this that you do not have factual evidence to backup. These DVD-RW DL discs may indeed be put into mass production. Here is a quote from an article over at the register: “However, JVC did say it has developed a bonding film that allows the two layers to be joined together in conventional disc manufacturing equipment. That will improve the cost of production, potentially speeding the format’s uptake.” http://www.channelregister.co.uk/2005/04/04/jvc_dual-layer_dvd-rw/
