I’m liking this thread very much.

Metallica taught me how to play guitar. Not personally of course. I would hole myself up in my room and listen to song after song until i could play it.

This is my favourite kind…
My fav guitar players at the moment are, Tommy Emmanuel, and John Patitucci.
Isn’t Patitucci a bass player?

Hell yeah for Tommy BTW!
Isn’t Patitucci a bass player?
Indeed.

Hey, Bass counts! I have a 5 string Bass that I try to play, it counts!! It’s harder to play (physically) than the Violin, (which I try to play also) and the Bass guitar is truly under appreciated. Music without Bass is like saying Wine is good, without the water in it.

No wait…you wouldn´t piss in beer now would ya?

Ok…maybe that depends on the beer…

Huh?

Ah…you mean this, or this, or this, or maybe this

<-- can see pretty much
everything has been
covered except that
the world does not
yet have a worthy
pissed-in-the-beer
guitar-based song!

:stuck_out_tongue:

NO NO NO, I meant REAL WINE without WATER, that stuff isn’t music!! I had no awareness of such stuff, ewww. Bad simile, bad, bad, simile.

The story behind the guitar sound of Gish and Siamese Dream

Nice pic BTW :stuck_out_tongue:
